Kelsey Turk (1987-) is an American avant-garde composer of music for orchestra, string ensembles, solo piano, guitar, solo voice and chorus. His piece "Colors" (2010) for string quartet & piano became a point of interest in the writing of "161 Glass: Site Specific Music in an Artistic Context" by Christina Rusnak, a Composer and Executive Director of Philadelphia's award winning ensemble, Orchestra 2001. His composition style is attributed to the interdisciplinary arts between Music & Architecture; having been influenced by the musical works of Reich, Glass, and Xenakis.
